Itinerary

Day 1
  • Welcome to Treviso, the 'Little Venice' Our journey begins in Treviso, a city I love for its intimate and elegant atmosphere.

  • We will immediately tune into the local rhythm, starting from its beating heart: Piazza dei Signori. Here, I will show you the medieval beauty of the Palazzo del Podestà, the imposing Torre del Comune, the ancient Palazzo Pretorio, and the striking Palazzo del Trecento. We will then take a leisurely stroll along the ancient walls and picturesque canals, which give Treviso a unique, romantic, and old-world charm.

  • In the evening, we will head to our hotel, where we will gather around the table for our first dinner together and our overnight stay.

Day 2
  • Medieval Villages, Stories of Great Artists, and the Prosecco Hills After breakfast, we will set off towards Castelfranco Veneto. I will take you to discover this splendid walled city, dominated by an extraordinarily preserved medieval castle. This is the birthplace of Giorgione: we will visit his ancient home and, inside the Cathedral, admire the famous Castelfranco Madonna up close.

  • From there, we will move on to Asolo, an enchanting village with ancient origins. Walking through its alleys, we will see the 15th-century Palazzo della Ragione (now the Civic Museum) and the area's splendid noble residences, including the home of the 'divine' Eleonora Duse, on whose facade you can still read the verses dedicated to her by Gabriele d'Annunzio.

  • After lunch in a traditional restaurant, the afternoon will be dedicated to the breathtaking landscapes of the Prosecco and Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Hills Wine Route, a designated UNESCO World Heritage site. We certainly cannot miss a stop at a local winery for a tasting of their finest wines. In the evening, we return to the hotel for dinner and some well-deserved rest.

Day 3
  • The Breath of the Dolomites: Cortina and the Enchantment of Misurina Today we head up into the mountains! Right after breakfast, we will depart for Cortina d'Ampezzo, the undisputed queen of the Dolomites. It is an exclusive destination, world-famous for winter tourism and major international sporting events. We will enjoy a lovely walk through the town center before stopping for lunch at a local restaurant.

  • In the afternoon, I will take you to a place that takes your breath away: Lake Misurina. Imagine a body of water surrounded by dense woods, with the majestic backdrop of the snow-capped Dolomites... I assure you it is a sight you will not easily forget.

  • Regenerated by the mountain air, we will return to the hotel for dinner and our overnight stay.

Day 4
  • The Charm of Bassano del Grappa, a Traditional Lunch, and Return in the Early Afternoon For our last day together, after breakfast, we will immediately set off towards Bassano del Grappa.

  • We will let ourselves be guided through its beautiful streets to discover a city I adore for its elegance and its splendid panoramic position on the Brenta River. Its undisputed symbol is the legendary Ponte degli Alpini: an ingenious structure designed by Andrea Palladio that has defied history.

  • Around 12:30 PM, we will sit down at a traditional restaurant in the heart of Bassano to enjoy a wonderful lunch featuring local flavors. Right after lunch, around 2:00 PM, we will head back to the bus and hit the road for our return journey.
